Verity is the global leader in autonomous indoor drone systems. Our integrated inventory tracking system enables zero-error warehousing for big box retailers, third-party logistics providers, and manufacturers.

As Verity’s autonomous drones are being rolled out to warehouses worldwide, we are seeking to grow our deployment team with a new Field Service Engineer. You will be the technical expert in the installation and maintenance of our systems at client sites and will assist in improving our processes so we can deploy systems efficiently worldwide. This position will require frequent travel to clients sites internationally.

Verity's live events solutions help create stunning effects for top names in the entertainment industry like Drake, Céline Dion, Justin Bieber, Metallica, and Cirque du Soleil. What you'll do:

  • Interact with internal teams, external 3rd party vendors, and clients to resolve complex problems
  • Perform as a technical expert during the deployment of our autonomous drone systems in facilities around the world
  • Hands-on hardware installation
  • Set-up and troubleshoot networking equipment and software
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment and training processes, and user documentation
  • Work closely with the Development team to solve issues encountered on-site
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide solutions
  • Test equipment and perform maintenance in the field

What you bring:

  • Completed vocational training in a profession with an electronic background or a bachelor degree in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the installation of integrated systems spanning hardware and software
  • Very good technical understanding and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems consisting of hardware and software
  • Knowledge or first direct experience with client technical training and instruction in a field setting
  • Experience with the setup of network equipment is a plus
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English (at least B2), additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends on a regular basis
