Mission:

The Future Technologies team investigates, designs, and prototypes the core technologies that will underpin Verity’s products for years to come. Led by the CTO, our mission is to extend Verity’s technological leadership by reinventing the way we autonomously collect data, manage it, and provide valuable insights. We achieve this by deeply understanding the technology state of the art and Verity’s product vision, challenging conventional implementations, and proving new designs by building functional prototypes.

Your Role:

  • Spearhead re-imagining the architecture of Verity’s insight generation workflows
  • Deeply analyze Verity’s current implementation in terms of performance and usability
  • Prototype a workflow orchestration system specific to Verity’s unique application
  • Systematically analyze technical risk and implement proof-of-concept studies to eliminate it
  • Enable efficient productization through clear documentation, communication, and guidance

Your experience:

  • Experience in distributed systems engineering, ideally including workflow orchestration or cloud-edge computation
  • Proven strong system architecture skills
  • Significant experience with Python
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Master’s in computer science or a related field

Who you are:

You are an independent, reliable, and systematic engineer known for taking ownership of complex, unstructured problems. You like to deeply understand the technologies you use, verify your intuitions experimentally, and challenge your own assumptions as much as other’s.
