Verity’s AI-powered inventory tracking system delivers real-time, data-driven insights through our intuitive Dashboard, empowering clients to achieve a zero-error warehouse, reduce labor costs, and build more sustainable supply chains. Your team plays a crucial role in this transformation. With your experience and leadership, you will guide and mentor a multidisciplinary group of talented engineers, helping them to tackle complex challenges with innovative and effective solutions.

Your role

  • Partner with a Product Manager to lead a cross-functional team in designing solutions for automated inventory management by integrating machine vision, intelligent systems, and intuitive, data-rich front-end experiences.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product strategy and client needs to craft solutions that are valuable, technically feasible, user-friendly, and commercially viable.
  • Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of your teams work within our hardware and software services.
  • Manage, coach, and empower a high performing team to enable consistent, sustainable and high quality delivery.
  • Champion a culture of ownership, continuous learning and technical excellence through feedback and collaboration.
  • Lead by example in embodying our company culture and actively contribute to its ongoing evolution.

Your experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (FH, BSc, MSc).
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of complex software products, ideally in a SaaS or product-focused environment.
  • Track record in people management, with a passion for mentoring, growing talent, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in several of the following technologies: Python, C++, TypeScript, React, and AWS.
  • Deep understanding of agile practices and modern product development, especially in empowered team setups focused on outcomes.
  • Commitment to quality and engineering excellence, with experience designing scalable, maintainable, and extensible systems.
  • Strong product mindset, with the ability to understand user needs, challenge assumptions, and collaborate closely with product managers and designer to deliver valuable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken. Able to bridge the gap between technical and non technical stakeholders
